Tooth Fairy (PG)

Scott:

Scott: Tonight we have a guest reviewer for the Tooth Fairy.  Laney is a 10 year old aspiring writer, so we thought we'd give her a shot at a review.

Laney: The Tooth Fairy is a wonderful family movie that will bring humor to you. It is funny, touching, and most of all, interesting. I bet you will walk out of the theater laughing.

This movie is appropriate for kids and will even make adults laugh. The Tooth Fairy is a movie about a man named Derick Johnson (Dwayne Johnson) who doesn't believe in the tooth fairy. In fact, it seems as though he has no imagination at all! All of that changes when he is accused by a fairy of not believing. His penalty is that he is sentenced to be a Tooth Fairy for two weeks.

At first he hates it, but then he realizes that if you believe, anything is possible.

As the Tooth Fairy, he gets these funny but rather interesting gadgets to help him reach the tooth under each child's pillow.

One of the disadvantages of this movie is that it keeps repeating itself (and not just because of Derick's Amnesia dust!). It mentions the same things over and over. Other than that, the movie was brilliant.

The Tooth Fairy is a great family movie. One thing I noticed when I watched this movie was that the acting was very convincing. It seemed like they didn't have a script at all! It felt like reality TV. They are so great at acting, it doesn't even seem like they are acting!

This magnificent family movie will certainly catch the eye of children that believe.

I give this a 4 out of 5 for family fun.

Thanks for that great review Laney!
